At Monju: Entrance to Sagarmatha National Park. In the 1960s, the Nepalese government campaigned to find a Nepali name for Mount Everest and came up with Sagarmatha. This is not a traditional name for the mountain. The Chinese have campaigned to the west to use the Tibetan name of Chomolangma exclusively. Of course, that has not had much effect.
