| Google Earth View from the top of Columbia Icefield. We can see the Athabasca Glacier as the left arm and the Saskatchewan Glacier as the right arm. The two hikes today will be focused on getting the best views of these 2 glaciers. The Wilcox Pass trail offers views of Athabasca Glacier and the Dome. The Parker Ridge trail is the only way to see Saskatchewan Glacier (cannot be seen from the road). |
