Athabasca Falls...a river once again, it flows on, eventually finding its way to the Arctic Ocean after draining into Lake Athabasca and then from there on as Slave river into Great Slave Lake and then on as Mackenzie river all the way to the Arctic Ocean. As said before it originates at the Triple Continental Divide point on Columbia Ice field.

We'll spend the next day exploring its origins on the Athabasca Glacier.
